We’re seeking highly experienced and versatile FreelanceWeb Developersto join our dynamic Learning & Development team for future opportunities. This is a hands-on developer who is comfortable with eLearning technologies and front-end web development. You will serve as the lead technical resource on projects, taking ownership from conceptualization to deployment.

Your expertise will be crucial in building custom, high-impact learning solutions using modern web technologies. You will be a key contributor, and your comfort with off-the-shelf and open-source tools will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Take ownership of web-based eLearning development projects, serving as the lead technical resource and driving the development process from start to finish.
  2. Hands-On Development: Act as the primary contributor, focusing on front-end development with modern frameworks like Adapt and React.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, graphics designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure project goals are met.
  4. Task Coordination: Effectively delegate development tasks to supporting team members and coordinate the technical workflow to ensure project quality and timely delivery.
  5. Working Hours: Be available to work US daytime hours to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration with the project team and clients.
  6. Must have strong English language skills, both written and verbal.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Proven experience as a developer with a strong portfolio of front-end and/or eLearning projects.
  2. Front-End Development: Deep expertise with frameworks like Adapt and React and related front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  3. Modern eLearning Standards: Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG/508 compliance) is a must-have, and experience with LMS integration (SCORM/xAPI) and translation/localization workflows is preferred.
  4. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and implement creative technical solutions.
  5. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully collaborating with diverse teams.
  6. Autonomy: The ability to work independently, adapting to the client's timeline and driving a project to completion with a high degree of ownership.
  7. Adaptability: A flexible mindset and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies as projects require.
