The Storage Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer - Lamp (Remote) who is comfortable around both front end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. We need a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. The best candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle from conception to deployment. We also welcome new ideas and skills as we continually strive to be at the cutting edge of all that we do as a company.

Day to Day Life at The Storage Group as a Full Stack Developer:

1. Develop, test and maintain new and existing web-based SaaS applications for our growing client base
2. Build pixel-perfect UX’s from visuals on the front end and connect new API’s into systems on the backend while maintaining snappy interactions and CRUD operations
3. Thoroughly implement and test functionality written by yourself or other developers and spot everything from small details to major logic flaws
4. Develop front end website architecture
5. Design user interactions on web pages
6. Develop back end website applications
7. Manage servers and databases maintaining functionality and uptime
8. Ensure responsiveness of applications
9. Work with graphic designers for web design features
10. Design and develop API’s
11. Write Technical documentation

What you need to know to be successful in this role:

1. Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or relevant technical field preferred
2. Knowledge and experience with WordPress networked sites
3. Knowledge experience with multiple front-end languages (i.e. JavaScript, HTML/ CSS, JQuery)
4. Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (C#, Java, Python and JavaScript frameworks ( i.e. Angular, React, Node.js)
5. Knowledge and experience with PHP
6. Experience with Database management (i.e. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers and UI/UX design
7. Ability to write clean code and follow coding standards
8. Ability to work in a team setting and able to adapt at a moment’s notice
9. Creative, adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
10. Excellent visual and oral communication skills

Bonus Skills:

1. ADA compliance experience
2. WCAG 2. 0 Experience
3. Server, Apache, domain, email troubleshooting
4. SEO knowledge
5. E-Commerce
6. Design skills a plus (UX/UI)
