Purpose of Role

  1. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging web applications that seamlessly integrate AI-driven products and tools. Supports both internal teams and external users such as customers and partners by ensuring that AI capabilities are delivered in intuitive, secure, and scalable web interfaces.
  2. Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  3. Designs and implements new features and functionality for web applications with a focus on AI product integration.
  4. Collaborates with product managers, data scientists, and AI engineers to create user-friendly interfaces that make AI models and services accessible.
  5. Develops responsive, accessible, and performant front-end solutions for both internal dashboards and external-facing platforms.
  6. Ensures high performance, scalability, and availability of AI-enabled applications.
  7. Translates prototypes and wireframes into production-ready web interfaces with a focus on usability and clarity.
  8. Troubleshoots and resolves front-end issues, ensuring seamless integration with back-end APIs and AI services.
  9. Maintains best practices in code quality, accessibility, and security for web-based AI solutions.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Reports To

  1. VP, Emerging Technology

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React (or similar frameworks), and SASS.
  2. Experience designing and developing responsive, accessible web applications (WCAG standards).
  3. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL, with experience integrating AI/ML endpoints and handling JSON/XML data.
  4. Familiarity with AI/ML product integration (e.g., embedding model outputs into UI, visualizing AI-driven insights, or workflow automation tools).
  5. Proficient with debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, etc.) and performance optimization techniques.
  6. Strong understanding of version control tools such as Git (GitHub/GitLab).
  7. Experience with cloud-hosted solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and front-end deployment pipelines.
  8. Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and headless CMS integrations.
  9. Understanding of SEO principles, analytics, and user behavior tracking.
  10. Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, especially in product, AI engineering, and UX/UI design.
  11. Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts) to display AI insights.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is ($77,000 - $115,400) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
