We are currently seeking a remote based Field Account Manager for our Life Science Research business. In this position, you will act as a critical partner to our high potential accounts in the New York and Connecticut regions.
Sartorius has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated, entrepreneurially spirited professional to help fuel the growth of our Lab Product Solutions division to support customers in the New York and Connecticut territory, (remote position). The incumbent in this key role will be a trusted business partner to our customers in the biopharmaceutical arena. As the Field Account Manager, you will be responsible for the growth of revenue by proactive sales of the product portfolio in its territory and developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for its assigned customer base.
What you will accomplish together with us
Promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue target
Assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer enquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate
Work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account
Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory
Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business
Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership
What will convince us
Bachelor degree or with relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
3+ years experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
Good communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, hard working
Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $100,000.00 and $120,000.00 depending upon experience and qualifications. Commissions for this position generally range up to 30% of a candidate’s base salary.
