Position Overview: The General Manager (GM) will oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, efficient management of staff, and profitability. Additionally, the GM will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive traffic, enhance brand visibility, and create memorable experiences for our guests. This position requires a hands-on leader who is not only adept at running operations but also has a deep understanding of modern marketing tactics, both digital and traditional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Manage staffing levels, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local codes.
  • Monitor inventory and manage supplier relationships to control costs and maintain quality.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
  • Marketing and Branding:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, attract new customers, and retain loyal patrons.
  • Manage social media channels, creating engaging content and building an online community.
  • Work with local media outlets, influencers, and event organizers to promote the restaurant through various PR initiatives.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that drive business growth and seasonal traffic.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to continually refine marketing efforts and maximize ROI.
  • Financial Management:
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, creating and maintaining budgets.
  • Implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability while maintaining high-quality service and food standards.
  • Analyze and report on financial metrics including revenue, labor costs, and overhead.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of managers, chefs, and front-of-house staff.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development to ensure team members are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that aligns with the restaurant's values.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Maintain a strong focus on guest experience, ensuring that all customers have an outstanding visit.
  • Regularly interact with guests, gathering feedback and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Innovate and improve service offerings based on guest insights and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and marketing.
  • A solid marketing background, including experience with digital marketing, social media, SEO, email campaigns, and event promotions.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, create reports, and adjust strategies based on key performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L statements.
  • A passion for food, hospitality, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Experience with marketing automation tools, website management, and content creation.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,499.00 per year
