The Field Services Division is looking for qualified Engineering Inspector I/II. These positions will be inspecting work performed by contractors in areas such as utilities infrastructure, structural coating, gravity main lining and construction site restoration. This position is performed under field conditions. This posting is for multiple positions assigned to the Field Services Construction Inspection (Curry Ford).
Representative Duties
Engineering Inspector I/II
Performs technical level inspections of projects assigned to the Utilities Field Services Division. This work is performed under field conditions. An employee in a position assigned to this classification is required to be well experienced in all aspects of the construction, documentation, and inspection of utilities projects.
Depending on area of assignment, this position involves skilled technical inspection and construction management of: multimillion dollar Utilities projects including pipeline projects, pump station, water and wastewater treatment plants, subdivision rehabilitation and/or new construction of residential and commercial development.
This position is required to communicate with contractors and developers while ensuring projects are constructed per Orange County Standards, while supporting immediate response to field issues with the guidance of a Sr. Inspector. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the assigned Chief Inspector.

Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's license is required for Engineering Inspector I/II
