About the Role

As our first in-house Designer, you will own the chance to single-handedly shape the NewtonX brand and bring it to life. You will partner with us on complex thinking and turn it into simple visual solutions across channels. Your solutions will tell compelling stories about our unique differentiator across target personas, industries, and need states across the entire customer journey. You will ship data-informed marketing campaigns and build organizational systems to support your work. The role is on the Brand and Marketing team and reports to the Brand Manager.

Responsibilities

Concept creative for visionary marketing campaigns spanning web, print, email, social, ads, and directory channels

Design for internal and external business needs, including sales collateral, brand templates, presentations and editorial reports, and trade-show collateral and signage

Partner with copywriters to produce impactful and engaging visual packages with high density content needs

Pitch thoughtful ideas to creative leadership and work collaboratively to bring them to life.

Partner with Product to build and ensure visual cohesion across the organization

Assist with directing photographers, animators, illustrators, and other creative partners on projects to drive larger brand vision and campaign goals

Continually expand our brand’s visual ecosystem by testing new mediums to tell our stories (infographics, data visualization, video, etc)

Uphold high standards of brand governance by creating and updating organizational templates across docs, slides and sheets

Refine and implement creative asset management systems

You are:
Experienced in working in B2B and understand how to communicate with the Fortune 500 and leading enterprise organizations.

Energized by tackling complex problems and shaping them into clear goals

Self starter, proactive leader, and strong project finisher with a positive attitude

Can listen, digest, and resolve creative feedback. You know when to advocate for design decisions and when to compromise.

A storyteller who can tell a rich story in a small amount of space, while attuned to messaging nuances and different audiences’ needs.

Lives the brand, with a knack for visually articulating brand language. You can spot when a deliverable is one pixel off.

May have animation/motion design or photo/video editing experience.

Have working knowledge of the latest design, UX/UI, digital, and social media trends

Have strong independent project management skills and can balance multiple projects and deadlines at once.

Expert in Google Slides, Figma, Adobe CC, Canva

About You

Bachelor’s degree in design preferred.

Experience working with B2B or in a corporate environment in technology, business services, or a start-up environment is preferred.

Must have 3-5 years of design experience
