Job Description:

Green Leaf Pet Resort is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Reception / Sales Associates to provide exceptional customer service by working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about products/services, and recommend solutions to fit their needs. Applicants must be comfortable interacting with dogs, speaking on the phone, and in person with clients.

Our facility is open year-round, so applicants must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Reception desk hours vary between 6am - 7:15pm. Shifts are 8 hours.

Applicants who do not have at least 1 weekend day available will not be contacted.

Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure
* Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Your mode of operation is characterized by attention to detail and a high degree of autonomy
* Mature enough to understand the responsibility that comes with handling someone’s “fur baby”
* Dependable – availability to work flexible shifts + weekends and Holidays * Possess problem-solving skills
* Basic Computer Knowledge- Understanding of Google Mail Systems and Calendars
* (1) Year Reception experience in a veterinary/hotel setting preferred but not required
* A love for dogs is a must
* High school diploma or equivalent (18 years & older)

Job Duties:
* Provide friendly, efficient, perceptive and knowledgeable service
* Greet guests with a warm demeanor
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service * Answering phones; connecting them with the appropriate party, taking reservations and making appointments
* Be knowledgeable about all the services, facilities and events in the hotel
* Check-in, Check-out and orientation services
* Enter new client information and vaccination records * Accurately process monetary transactions
* Communicate with clients
* Provide a tour of the facility
