Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Elmhurst, IL, is hiring a full-time, permanent Communications Assistant.

 

 

Communications Assistant - Elmhurst, IL

$50,000 -$55,000 Annually

We are looking for a detail-oriented Communications Assistant to join our team and support our communications and data analysis efforts. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing and organizing communication materials, helping with event coordination, and analyzing important data. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to trade shows 6-8 times a year in big cities in the US, representing our brand and assisting in the management of event logistics. This position requires proficiency in Excel, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and charts, to support reporting and data-driven decision-making.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the communications team in developing and distributing internal and external communication materials
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of trade shows, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently
  • Act as the primary point of contact during events, addressing any issues in real-time, and providing excellent customer service to attendees
  • Collect and organize data from marketing campaigns, trade shows, and internal communications and create detailed reports
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and internal teams
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s CRM and other communication databases
  • Responsible for providing additional support to projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and charts
  • Ability to travel to 6-8 trade shows annually
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a customer facing role
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
