RedCloud is seeking multiple Content Writers and Editors to support several client engagements. Depending on the role the below describes responsibilities for our writers and editors with some roles handling both.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Writes about general interest topics or draws upon specialized knowledge in both technical and non technical areas to produce information across multiple channels and platforms.
• Assist in content design, focused on experiences that give admins insights into how products are used in their organization.
• Write friendly, brilliantly clear UI text within the parameters of our voice & tone principles.
• Design and write content for in-product experiences that help customers achieve their goals.
• Capitalize on multiple sources of customer data to inform your content design.
• Understand, employ, and evangelize our content design principles, coherence guidelines, and content design evaluation tools.
• Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and innovations and effectively pitch those ideas to the team and stakeholders.
• Use established guidelines and patterns to continue to promote consistency and coherence.
• Contribute to terminology work to document commerce terms & patterns.
• Provides copy editing support to technical editors, programmer editors and writers.
• Ensures compliance with corporate and group editorial style standards.
• Maintains correctness, consistency and accuracy in documentation.
• Ensures compliance with corporate legal guidelines for adding trademarks to product names.
• Performs production proofing and coordination tasks, as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelors degree in English, Communications or related area preferred.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work under deadline pressure.
• Familiarity with one or more standard style guides required.

Compensation range for position is $49,500 - $99,000 DOE.
