Community and Social Media Intern at Werkville
About the Role:
As a Community and Social Media Intern at Werkville, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the founder to develop and implement social media strategies, event planning, and business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging content for social media platforms, assisting with event planning, and researching business development strategies to secure sponsorships and partnerships. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing and engaging with the community, providing customer service, and supporting community engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage social media accounts for Werkville
- Assist in developing a social media content calendar and strategy
- Support the creation of email newsletters and marketing materials
- Assist in planning community events
- Research new business development strategies
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience in community engagement, management, and social media
- Experience in social media management
- Familiarity with online community platforms and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as well as early career development and mentorship
Additional Details:
- This is a remote position available anywhere in the United States
- The intern will work 6-10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours
- This internship is for college credit only
