Attractive pay

  1. $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually

Responsibilities

  1. Creates company communications including, but not limited to, biographies for company web site, announcements and promotional campaigns for electronic communications, and articles for company newsletters, intranet, and announcement memos.
  2. Develops and implements company communications activities including, but not limited to, allocating resources to complete project requests, coordinating production of project materials, and managing vendor relationships.
  3. Analyzes communications statistics and implements changes to written content, delivery, and strategy based on such analysis.
  4. Creates strategy and develops company policies and procedures for delivery of marketing communications to target audiences.
  5. Develops and implements policies and procedures for meeting branding strategy goals and audience engagement.
  6. Meets with corporate clients to create and execute communication plans for campaigns, events, etc.
  7. Assists with technical logistics for corporate events and departmental meetings.
  8. Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required

  1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, and/ or related field.
  2. Three (3+) years of relevant experience with a focus on healthcare communications and/or public relations. Must have a portfolio of writing samples that may include news releases, feature stories, blogs, newsletters, talking points, and targeted messages for various stakeholders.

Preferred

  1. Knowledge of various writing techniques including but not limited to communication plans, corporate messaging, newsletters, press releases and promotional copy.
  2. Healthcare experience
  3. Recent experience with Microsoft Teams and Teams Events, SharePoint, PowerPoint and the rest of Microsoft Office Suite
