Registers sales on a cash register by itemizing and totaling customer purchases.
Processes return transactions.
Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
Experience in handling petty cash, preparing vouchers, and accounts payable
A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology in the workplace
Maintains the Petty Cash float
Prepares Reimbursement Claims on a weekly basis
Receives, issue receipts and deposits all cheques collected from external and internal clients
Prepares vouchers related to various revenues and expense
Attention to detail is a must
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a similar position, responsible for finance, accounting and cash management
Knowledge of Banner software and QuickBooks is an advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated capacity to interact with people at all levels of the organization
