We are seeking a talented CAD Drafter to join our team and help bring our kiosk designs to life. As a CAD Drafter at Olea, you will be responsible for transforming concepts into detailed fabrication drawings, using Solidworks software to create kiosks that are both stylish and high performing. In this role, you will work closely with our design team to ensure accuracy and completeness of the CAD drawings and models. You will also collaborate with colleagues to create and analyze Bills of Materials, ensuring that equipment and system designs and drawings are delivered accurately and within the scheduled timeframe. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that all designs meet company and industry standards for quality and safety.

The essential duties and responsibilities of a CAD Drafter at Olea include:

• Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models of kiosk designs using SolidWorks software
• Ensure equipment and system designs and drawings are accurate, meet required quality standards, and are delivered in the timeframe scheduled
• Work with colleagues to create, update, and analyze bills of materials (BOMs), with support from the Engineering team
• Collaborate with the Design team to ensure accuracy and completeness of CAD drawings and models
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, and other data to develop and design kiosk structures and components
• Assist in the preparation of materials lists, BOMs, and cost estimates for kiosk designs
• Ensure that all designs meet company and industry standards for quality and safety
• Review and prioritize work assignments to ensure deliverables are completed on time
• Create work instructions using data extracted from CAD files as requested
• Create and maintain model library

This is a full-time, on-site position in Cerritos, CA. Starting pay for this role is $40,000 to $60,000 per year.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Two years' experience as a CAD Drafter in a manufacturing industry
• Sheetmetal experience preferred
• Three years' experience using SolidWorks
• Disciplined and organized with the proven ability to manage multiple projects and/or deadlines
• Ability to think proactively and solve problems, limiting impact to production and delivery schedules
• Collaborative and team-oriented player who thrives in a fun and fast paced environment
