Our client, a Leading Technology & Data Analytics Company, is seeking a Data Engineer / BI Developer to join their team remotely.

REMOTE (Flexible hours Monday–Friday, 40 hours a week)

6 Month W2 Contract (open to conversion/extension)

You will support the client by building and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, and creating interactive dashboards to support business decisions.

Job Details:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and publish interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Services and Databricks.
• Transform and model data from multiple sources into data lake and data warehouse layers.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting.
• Write clean, modular Python code for data transformation and automation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and data quality.
• Contribute to the development of data architecture and best practices for BI and reporting.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Must Have:
• 3–5 years of experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience creating BI models and working with reporting tools.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and at least one other reporting tool.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with Python for data-related tasks.
• Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and large-scale data systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable working in a team environment.
• Ability to work with and learn multiple software-based tools.
