  • Position: Biomedical Research Scientist
  • Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION)
  • Security Clearance: Active clearance or eligible to obtain; U.S. citizenship required
  • Salary: $1 to $10 depending on education and -experience

SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Biomedical Research Scientist to be a part of the Scientific Engineering and Technical Assistance support that we provide to our Army Research Laboratory customer.

Specific Duties:

  • Conduct animal surgeries and experiments to support the Futuristic Concepts Team.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment/supplies.
  • Schedule and execute experimental protocols.
  • Ensure the quality of procedures and data.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and present presentations and written documents summarizing efforts

Minimum Required Education/Qualifications: At least 5years relevant experience with Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering or related degree; or Master's and 2 years; or PhD and 0 years.

  • Knowledge of directed energy biological effects
  • Knowledge of pharmacology and neuroscience as applied to medical chemical defense research Experience managing a biological laboratory
  • Experience scheduling and executing animal use protocols
  • Understanding of basic molecular techniques
  • Experience in immunohistochemistry
