Job Title: Backend Developer

Location: Remote

What You’ll Do

1. Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting enterprise applications
2. Collaborate closely with front‑end, mobile, and DevOps teams
3. Write clean, scalable, well‑structured code aligned to secure coding standards
4. Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access layers
5. Integrate with third‑party APIs and enterprise platforms
6. Implement auth frameworks such as OAuth2, JWT, and SSO
7. Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and CI/CD workflows
8. Monitor and improve API reliability, performance, and security
9. Stay current with modern backend frameworks, cloud capabilities, and integration patterns

What We’re Looking For

1. 5+ years of backend development experience
2. Strong experience developing RESTful APIs
3. Comfortable integrating complex enterprise platforms (Dynamics CE/Dataverse, Workday, etc.)
4. Experience with:
5. .NET / C# (primary), or Node.js / Java
6. SQL Server and relational data modeling
7. OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT
8. Experience supporting mobile and web apps through APIs
9. Strong understanding of backend architecture and integration patterns

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

1. Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus
2. CI/CD pipelines & automated testing
3. Experience supporting React Native apps
4. Background in healthcare, staffing, or HRIS/ATS integrations
5. Familiarity with SOC2, HIPAA, and data‑privacy best practices
