We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and proactive Associate Brand Manager to join our dynamic marketing team at our Salt Lake City, UT office.
The ideal candidate will report and work closely with the VP of Marketing to develop and implement marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, positioning our brand to maximize awareness and loyalty.
This role also requires recruiting, training, and managing a team of brand ambassadors to promote our brand and products effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative and strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a data-driven approach to strengthen brand identity and deliver on business objectives, strategic planning, and hands-on coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy and Development
- Develop, refine, and implement the brand strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and positioning.
- Identify and understand target audience segments to enhance brand engagement and market reach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
2. Campaign Planning and Execution
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, from conception to completion, ensuring they align with brand objectives.
- Coordinate with creative, social media, and content teams to develop engaging and innovative promotional materials.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.
3. Market Analysis and Insights
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
- Utilize data and insights to inform brand positioning and strategy.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess brand performance, customer satisfaction, and market impact.
4. Recruitment and Onboarding
- Identify, interview, and recruit brand ambassadors who align with our brand values and target audience.
- Facilitate onboarding, ensuring all ambassadors understand brand guidelines, product details, and campaign goals.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with brand ambassadors to create an engaging and supportive community.
5. Training and Development
- Provide ongoing training on new products, brand messaging, and ambassador best practices.
- Host regular training sessions, workshops, and Q&A sessions to ensure ambassadors are confident and knowledgeable.
- Create and distribute training materials, including guidelines, product information, and FAQs.
6. Campaign Coordination
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design ambassador campaigns that align with brand objectives.
- Develop and communicate clear campaign briefs, goals, and performance expectations.
- Monitor ambassador activities to ensure campaigns are executed according to guidelines and objectives.
7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and analyze ambassador performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and conversion.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign effectiveness, ambassador engagement, and overall program success.
- Provide feedback and recognition to ambassadors, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
8. Community Building and Engagement
- Organize events, meetings, and online communities to encourage ambassador networking and engagement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for ambassadors, providing ongoing support and answering any questions.
- Recognize and reward top-performing ambassadors to build loyalty and motivation.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related role; experience managing brand ambassadors or similar promotional teams is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with social media platforms and tools for tracking campaign performance.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to work some weekends and after hours depending on business needs.
