We're looking for a curious, creative, and driven Art Director to join our team. This role is all about knowing how to strategize, conceptualize, design, and lead a team to execute innovative ideas and achieve success for our clients.

You are highly creative, yet focused on attention to detail. You love to dream big, but also know how to execute an idea across multiple media channels. You thrive working directly with clients & teams as well as on your own, and you know how to ask the right questions to achieve creative success.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead, train and mentor our cross-functional team of creative strategists and specialists in art direction, messaging, skills training, timelines + project planning, and executing highly creative and effective work.
  • Highly skilled in creative concepting, design and execution of ideas across media to bring ideas to life and ensure client success.
  • Ensure creative work is on brand and on strategy for our clients by providing team communication and guidance.
  • Prioritize projects and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with content, creative and production departments.
  • Augment creative-first solutions that satisfy each client's sensibilities and respect brand guidelines.
  • Ability to plan and execute projects across multiple creative disciplines including but not limited to; photography and videography planning and direction, campaign conceptualization, etc.
  • Review and approve all team creative, including content and design developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering on-time, error-free, best-in-class quality results.
  • Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer need, and the competitive landscape.
  • Present creative work to clients & stakeholders in an engaging and effective manner.
  • Maintain ahead-of-the-curve knowledge of industry trends, tools and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of ad agency design firm, or marketing experience in creative leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or equivalent work experience
  • Expert knowledge in working with a variety of cross-functional design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, After Effects.
  • Online portfolio featuring dynamic campaigns in digital/web, social, experiential, and/or traditional mediums.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams (accounts, media, production, etc.)
  • Familiarity and ability to provide thought leadership in UX/UI design
  • Brand experience with an understanding of visual storytelling.
  • Additional design skills in related fields including art direction, video, motion design/animation.
  • A strong understanding of marketing and content channels and ability to adapt design to fit the needs of the audience.
  • Great taste, instincts, and knowledge of design trends.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Client-focused thinking.
  • Natural communicator, both verbally and written.
  • Extremely organized and included to note-take and document.
  • Positive attitude, who is always willing to find a way to make it work.
  • A natural builder. Someone who loves a work-in-progress.
