Our client in the art space is looking for an Art Database Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, updating, and enhancing our art and exhibition database. This is a data-heavy position requiring meticulous attention to detail and a research-oriented mindset. You will be responsible for inputting information, creating alerts, tracking new exhibitions, and sourcing accurate data, making this a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of our database.

Fully remote

20 hrs/per week

Starting ASAP through December.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own and manage the database, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
2. Conduct extensive research to gather information about exhibitions and artworks around the world.
3. Input and organize data systematically, including setting alerts for relevant updates.
4. Work autonomously to identify areas of improvement and proactively enhance our research processes.
5. Collaborate across the team to ensure all database information aligns with the needs of the organization.

What We're Looking For:

1. Someone with substantial experience in data management and research roles—ideally farther along in their career.
2. Detail-oriented and action-oriented, capable of managing large volumes of information with accuracy.
3. Proactive problem-solver, someone who takes initiative and can work independently to identify and address needs.
4. Strong research skills and experience managing complex databases.
5. A passion for art and culture is a plus.
