DESCRIPTION

Under supervision, the Architectural Design Associate directs architectural efforts towards, and researches, prepares planning documents, prepares schematic design concepts and develops contract documents for architectural projects, and administers construction-phase services for building projects.

• Perform routine architectural design and provides support for projects.
• Prepare project designs and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Assist with developing building design, design modeling, layout, construction documents preparation, and construction contract administration duties.
• Conduct architectural research for materials, products, building systems, and building code requirements.
• Prefer working knowledge of current industry software including Revit and BIM.
• Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Four-year degree from an accredited architecture university or technical school.
• 0 to 3 years of related experience.
• Computer Skills in MS Office suite; Revit; AutoCAD; Sketch-up; Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
• Experience with 3-D modeling/illustration of buildings a plus.

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $53,541 to $69,604. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
