American Honda Finance Corporation (dba Honda Financial Services and Acura Financial Services), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., helps to satisfy the financing needs of consumers of Honda and Acura vehicles, Honda and Acura accessories, as well as Honda motorcycles, power equipment, and marine products. AHFC offers financing in the form of both retail installment sales contracts and leases, depending on the product and the needs of the customer.

About This Position

The Insurance Services Analyst will develop, lead and monitor the business requirements across business groups from AHM, AHFC and vendor partners to support the implementation of the Honda insurance business. They will represent and advocate for the insurance business product development as a subject matter expert and collaborate to achieve objectives, including project requirements, testing, and field support. They will research industry trends and use industry knowledge and experience to formulate sound recommendations to support objectives. The Analyst will design and recommend supporting strategies, action plans and KPIs to track progress providing updates on those key initiatives monthly, quarterly and annually for the benefit of various stakeholders (i.e. AHFC Executive Leadership Team, AHFC Management and AHM).

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Collaborate with AHM, AHFC and vendor partners to implement cross-functional initiatives that support the overall business strategy .
• Support Insurance services business by tracking, monitoring and reporting on the performance of key operating metrics that measure performance
• Monitor and update management on industry trends and competitor activity
• Proactively communicate with vendors regarding AHFC requirements and alignment with SLAs

Who Are We Seeking

• BA/BS degree required in finance, economics, business, business administration, mathematics/statistics, or related field
• 4 + years’ work experience in insurance, financial services and/or automotive manufacturer
• Must have a solid understanding of the automotive industry/automotive finance business
• Understands internal and external customer needs, advocates for improved customer experience
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management across all Honda companies
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
