HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development hire AI Writing Specialists - Safety and Sensitive Content to train generative artificial intelligence models to become better writers and provide safe content.

We are looking for creative people who can quickly draft high-quality, accurate content. Writers, editors/proofreaders, educators, researchers, and people with writing-oriented degrees are highly encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will be assigned to work on specific, high-priority projects for customers and/or to review (e.g. edit/grade) work done by others.

As an AI Writing Generalist - Safety and Sensitive Content, you will:

1. Work on various writing/reading projects to train generative AI models to generate responses appropriately where sensitive or harmful matters are involved and/or safety is a concern.
2. Create original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.
3. Rank a series of responses that were produced by an AI model.
4. Based on a given topic, generate content about that topic.
5. Assess whether a piece of text produced by an AI model is factually accurate or not.
6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR equivalent, relevant writing-centric experience
7. Excellent command of the English language and its grammar rules
8. Fortitude to address and review sensitive, harmful, and/or graphic material
9. Local to Southlake, TX, and open to working in-person 40 hours per week

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience in one of the below areas:
2. Animators
3. Coding
4. Cybersecurity, penetration testing, or digital forensics
5. Education
6. Professional Writing (e.g. copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, translator, instructional designer)
7. Social Work or Mental Health
8. Additional valued backgrounds:
9. Background in online community/content moderation or gaming communities
10. Deep knowledge of internet subcultures and emerging digital trends
11. Experience in crisis counseling, trauma-informed care, or working with vulnerable populations
12. Creative backgrounds like fan fiction writing
13. Interest in AI / ML technology highly encouraged

Commitment: This is a full-time, on-going contract position staffed via HireArt with the potential to extend. It is onsite and available to candidates local to the Southlake, TX area.
