Job Duties:

• Managing accounts payables in an effective and timely manner
• Tracking of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and statements per location
• Prepare and provide project updates and reporting on monthly basis or as requested
• Appropriately scheduling payments to vendors and following up to ensure receipt of payment
• Cross training and assisting in all areas of the accounting department as needed
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, and/or accounts payable experience
• Experience with QuickBooks and SAP Expense / Invoice products preferred
• Experience with Insurance agency management accounting systems (i.e. EZ Lynx) preferred
• BA or BS in Accounting preferable
• Strong technical skills within Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong analytical skills and aptitude to understand drivers of deviation in expected results
• Solid work ethic, including ability to follow-up, focus on details and take initiative
• Intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous improvement and process improvement
• Strong oral and written communication skills, able to work effectively with employees both internal and external to accounting department
