Through a shopper’s interactions with the former AppCard’s platform records and learns shopper behavior and gives grocers the ability to make their data actionable to increase average basket size and systematically increase repeat purchases.

 

About the Role

 

As our Accountant, you will play a major role in our daily financial operations, month close and process improvements as we continue to scale. We are looking for an Accountant that will own key accounting functions and enable the organization to scale quickly. The ideal candidate will be able to complete the accounting tasks correctly and in a timely manner. This role requires great attention to detail and great time management skills which will help us drive efficiency within our finance/accounting environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Take a significant role in our month close process and help make it more efficient: help adjust and own different BS and P&L accounts
  • Help manage the company’s reporting requirements for executive leaders - internal and external
  • Help manage the finance schedules including: fixed assets, prepaid, accruals and inventory
  • Provide additional support to the finance team when needed by entering invoices, managing and processing payments, reconciling bank and credit card transactions and reviewing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging reports.

 

What do you need to bring:

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision
  • Can do it attitude, willing to improve processes, high sense of ownership
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks - highly preferred
  • SalesFroce experience - highly preferred
  • Experience with bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation - a must
  • Understanding of basic accounting concepts
  • A team player, adept at building relationship across the organization
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Tax related experience - a must
