Job Description:

The Transmission team is currently seeking a highly organized individual to join our team as a training development lead. This position will require the successful candidate to work with technical staff to identify topics and create high-quality material for training, education, and technology transfer purposes. This position requires experience in training development and project management.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with manager and technical staff to assess needs and identify training topics.
  • Work with internal technical staff and outside contractors to create training material for various topics.
  • Work with internal technical staff to facilitate the delivery of training material.
  • Schedule training and manage the development of new training materials and courses.
  • Act as the liaison among technical staff, vendors, and EPRI members to execute the training program.
  • Oversee the development and processing of project agreements, contracts, cost planning, document planning, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service to project members, responding promptly to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Works with project members to help access program capabilities, evaluate the value of their membership, and resolve other member-related issues.

 

Requirements

 

  • Knowledge of electrical utility business
  • Experience with online training platforms and tools
  • Experience applying instructional design and technical education concepts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a highly matrix environment across multiple departments.

 

Ideal Candidate

 

A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.

 

  • BA or BS degree
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Experience with computer-based training development
  • Experience in-and-around an electric power utility.

The salary range for this position is $117,895 USD to $159,505 USD annually.

 

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

 

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.

 

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
