We’re looking for an amazing Trade Marketing Specialist to join Cunard. Cunard is one of the oldest and most famous ocean liners in the world. You’ll be responsible for supporting internal and sales teams, as well as our NAM and Canadian travel advisor partners, through multiple channels: via brochures and sales tool support (printed and digital collateral, as well as video), integrated product program launches, email communications, trade advertising, marketing of sales promotions/limited-time offers and programs, content management of our travel agent portal (OneSourceCruises.com).

Responsibilities

  • Project manage Cooperative advertising programs for National Account Travel Advisor partners and Field Sales and work with BDMs to evaluate the ROI of these initiatives.
  • Lead marketing support for Cunard Field Sales/National Account teams (including ad review, marketing collateral, promotions, trade show and conference theme strategy, online, POP, promotional items, communications, securing and distributing critical assets, such as logos, videos, etc.) Coordinate with Fulfillment teams for collateral inventory maintenance. Participates and presents marketing initiatives at Monthly Sales team call/meeting
  • Lead Program Launch marketing initiatives working with multiple stakeholders to produce critical support materials and communications to ensure a successful launch of new destination seasons. This also includes Exclusive Offer and Amenity Funding Program collateral/flyers.
  • Online content development, management, and maintenance of travel advisor portal, OneSourceCruises.com, and Cunard Partners micro-site
  • Project manage Cunard Academy online courses for Cunard North America, including working with internal stakeholders and the head UK office stakeholders to source edit and publish new content via “Storyline” content management system and implement content product updates, as well as test and develop successful trade marketing campaigns and contests to drive course enrollment and completion.
  • Develop Commodore Benefit program in tandem with UK, NAM Sales and Revenue Management teams to promote learning and engagement with our Brand. This includes Commodore Graduation Cruise programs.
  • Manage Sales Force Marketing Cloud which includes uploading marketing content, email templates, and image assets onto the salesforce platform for B2B to leverage their marketing efforts with their client base. This includes planning and executing a creative campaign journey strategy that supports our promotions, brand awareness and, ongoing testing, and optimizes collaboration with the sales team, shared services, and revenue management when applicable.
  • Responsible for Trade Social strategy, including ways to leverage third-party platforms to promote Cunard. Collaborates on content creation, of social media posts for NAM Sales ; liaises with NAM Marketing team, Public Relations and Sales teams on timely and relevant content. Lead weekly strategy meetings with Public Relations and NAM Sales.
  • Conduct ad-hoc surveys for Travel Advisors. This includes crafting survey questions, creating survey distribution strategies, interpreting survey results, and delivering reports to stakeholders. The main objective will be to obtain valuable insights that can be applied to marketing communications to improve the client and travel advisor experience of working with Cunard
  • Operational update comms. Ensure timely communication to trade partners of non-marketing updates
  • Liaise with Customer Service/Sales Support Specialists to deliver Trade FAQs for operational updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or internal/external communications in either a corporate setting or agency.
  • 5+ years of project management experience. Successful track record of independently handling multiple and complex events and initiatives.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular, Photoshop and Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro or DC
  • Experience with Project Management software, such as Workfront and Salesforce
  • Experience with web content management
  • Experience with American Disability Act compliance requirements with regard to consumer-facing marketing projects
  • Highly motivated, independent thinker and generator of on-brand, strategic marketing opportunities; strong ability to vet complex details.
  • Demonstrated ability to project-manage multiple stakeholders to deliver common objectives
  • Outstanding time management skills – track record of managing daily multiple projects ability to prioritize changing action items in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines.
  • Very strong analytical skills with ability to pro-actively present and resolve complex issues and results, with minimal supervision from manager
  • Strong experience with managing marketing content, from brochures and sales collateral to advertising, email and video.
  • Experience and ease with writing and editing marketing copy
  • Experience with email marketing, best practices and other facets of digital marketing and advertising
  • Experience with print and video production processes
  • Strong grasp of modern graphic design and best practices
  • Natural ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Team player

  • Base Salary Range: $54,200.00 to $73,200.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base Salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
