The Role

This position partners in a team environment or be able to independently manage and document all aspects of one or more technical project(s) that are tactical or strategic in nature and involve one functional area. Responsible for managing Construction and Engineering Projects in the Implementation space. Responsible for Project Managing the deployment process of new network requirements or modifications on existing structures. This position is responsible for setting dates, keeping multiple teams on task, and driving projects to completion on time or early. This position is responsible for meeting closeout SLA's, keeping multiple teams on task. This role is an Internal Customer Champion to ensure all order requests from internal/external customers are addressed timely, accurately and efficiently.

The Main Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate project status and risks to Leadership and cross-organizational teams
• Partners across functional work streams to ensure customer needs are addressed
• Manages Large complex projects and builds partnerships that require cross-organizational coordination
• Work with all project stakeholders to drive towards timely milestone and goal completion.
• Understand, evaluate and balance Lumen’s ability to deliver new products, services and technologies within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
• Validate project closure scope and set accurate project closeout milestones.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Experience with resource management including identification of gaps and recommendation of options to keep projects on time and within budget
• Knowledge of telecom or equivalent Project Management in a technical environment

• Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience
• 2+ years related experience

• Preferred:

• Telcom Expetrience
