The Technical Marketing Manager will contribute significantly to Allied Telesis’ success by driving solution adoption, increasing market share, and building strong ecosystem partner and customer relationships. This position will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between product development and sales, ensuring that solutions are effectively positioned and marketed to meet customer needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify target audiences, understand their needs and analyze competitive landscapes. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Provide technical expertise to support the development of marketing campaigns, ensuring that technical accuracy is maintained across all marketing channels.
- Work closely with engineering, product management and sales to ensure alignment on product development and marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers and customers to gather feedback and understand market trends.
- Develop compelling solution positioning and messaging that differentiates the company's offerings from competitors.
- Create various marketing materials, such as whitepapers, case studies, presentations, and blog posts, to educate and engage target audiences
- Develop technical content to support sales and revenue generation.
- Support regional sales teams to engage with prospects and secure new deals
- Support Marcom team to implement marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive demand for the product or service.

Experience, Skills & Abilities:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in technical marketing, product management or product marketing.
- Ability to engage with engineering and derive marketing messages to maximize product sales.
- Proven track record of successfully navigating the target market segments.
- Technical knowledge of key products/services within these segments.
- Strong understanding of the relevant industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Ability to effectively analyze and optimize the value chain of the target market segments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Education / Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
