Role Summary
Our client is a fast-growing AgTech company at the forefront of farm management, crop monitoring, and sustainable agriculture. By combining AI, advanced data analytics, and cloud platforms, they deliver actionable insights that help growers, insurers, and supply chain partners improve yields, reduce risk, and build resilience against climate challenges.
As Director of Marketing, you will own the go-to-market strategy — shaping product narratives, leading launches, and equipping Sales & Partners with the right tools to win. You’ll translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, drive adoption across diverse customer segments, and position the company as a category leader in AI-powered agriculture.
Responsibilities
- 📝 Positioning & Messaging → Define differentiated value propositions for growers, insurers, and ecosystem partners; update regularly with customer & market insights
- 🚀 Product Launches → Lead cross-functional GTM launches from strategy to execution; track adoption and revenue impact
- 📊 Market Intelligence → Size market opportunities, track competitor activity, and monitor regulatory/sustainability trends that inform roadmap priorities
- 🤝 Sales & Partner Enablement → Create decks, ROI tools, demo scripts, and battle cards; deliver training across internal teams and external partners
- 📈 Demand Generation → Partner with Marketing & Sales to translate product milestones into campaigns, webinars, and events
- 🎯 Voice of Customer → Lead win/loss interviews, customer councils, and surveys; feed actionable insights back to Product & Leadership
- 💲 Pricing & Packaging → Refine monetization models, align discount guardrails, and support deal desk on strategic opportunities
- 📖 Storytelling & Proof Points → Curate case studies, benchmarks, and data-driven stories demonstrating ROI on yield, efficiency, or sustainability
- 📌 Success Tracking → Measure feature adoption, pipeline influence, win-rates, and message recall in target segments
Requirements
- 4-7+ years in B2B SaaS or platform product marketing (AgTech, climate-tech, or data-driven industries a strong plus)
- Proven experience running successful product launches that drove revenue or adoption
- Familiarity with grower workflows, sustainability metrics, and agriculture value chains
- Ability to simplify technical detail (AI/ML, data analytics, remote sensing, sensors) into clear business outcomes
- Strong analytical mindset; experience with market sizing, usage analytics, and pricing models
- Natural cross-functional leader — able to run a launch war-room, deliver an inspiring webinar, and polish slides under deadline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for storytelling and proof points
- Comfortable in fast-paced, growth-stage SaaS environments with global customers
