The Position:

A Sequence Expert is expected to be an expert in lead generation and has a strong passion for modern outbound and inbound methodologies.

 

They have spent the last 3+ years of their career working with hyper growth B2B SaaS companies helping them to build high performing lead generation machines

 

As a Sequence Expert highly skilled in

  • Orchestrating modern outbound & inbound sequences
  • Scripting high-value prospect interactions
  • Assessing performance data in engagement tools (ie. Outreach Salesloft, etc.)
  • A/B testing sequences and messaging with regular strategy and content optimization
  • Working collaboratively with Sales Leadership, FLMs, and ICs
  • Managing complex projects and timelines

 

Responsibilities:

 

Client Collaboration and Needs Assessment:

  • Collaborate with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their target audience, buyer personas, and pain points.
  • Understand current process for creating and optimizing sequences today
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify the specific goals and objectives for the outbound and inbound sequences.
  • Gather and analyze market research, competitor insights, and industry trends to inform sequence development strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' products, services, value propositions, and competitive advantages.

Sequence Development and Optimization:

  • Design and develop customized outbound sequences that incorporate email, phone, social media, and other relevant channels.
  • Craft engaging and compelling messaging that resonates with prospects and addresses their pain points and challenges.
  • Develop inbound sequences that attract and engage prospects through valuable content, targeted messaging, and timely follow-ups.
  • Continuously optimize and refine sequences based on performance metrics, A/B testing, and client feedback.

Sales Training & Enablement

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate sales representatives on the utilization and benefits of the sequences
  • Provide ongoing coaching and office hours support to sales teams to ensure effective adoption and implementation of the playbooks.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement and training teams to develop training programs and resources that align with the sequences
  • Regularly assess the impact of the sequences on pipeline development and sales and provide feedback and recommendations for refinement.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor in the development and implementation of sequences
  • Conduct regular check-ins, gather feedback, and provide guidance and recommendations based on clients' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to align the sequences with their sales strategies, goals, and target markets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to lead generation.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • At least 1 year consulting experience either as a freelancer or working for sales consulting company
  • Minimum of 3 years in an individual contributor sales and/or SDR role, with a focus on outbound and inbound sequence development.
  • Proven expertise in developing effective outbound and inbound sequences that drive business closures.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, buyer personas, and pain points across various industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in sales and marketing automation tools, CRM
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
