We are searching for a passionate SEO Analyst to join our growing team. This role would be responsible for developing and implementing SEO campaigns and strategies to meet partner goals. The SEO Analyst provides overall strategic governance for projects by following standard operating procedures while also looking for opportunities to innovate. This role should evaluate current SEO procedures and practices and provide suggestions for improvement whenever possible. Primary responsibilities include managing the fulfillment of campaign deliverables, evaluating SEO strategy for new and current partners, and reporting on campaign performance to the Client Success Manager Team. The analyst determines the success of campaigns by reading and interpreting data, conducting research, troubleshooting campaigns, and making predictive marketing decisions to build effective SEO strategies.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the various SEO techniques that equate to a successful SEO campaign, including technical, onsite and offsite SEO, local SEO strategies, link building, and on-page optimizations.
- Understanding of the broader context of SEO and SEM.
- Solid grasp of the Google ecosystem, including search and ranking algorithms, organic ranking factors, and link building strategies and best practices.
- Remain results-focused, with an ability to organize and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills necessary to manage projects effectively.
- Self-starter with a strong ability to self-motivate.
Essential Responsibilities
- Plan SEO strategies for newly onboarding marketing partners as well as evaluate key performance metrics and ongoing SEO for current clients.
- Work with sales team to devise organic strategies to assist with closing new business and partnerships.
- Work with internal specialist teams ensuring that the SEO strategy is executed for current clients, ultimately driving results and accomplishing KPIs.
- Review and re-strategize current SEO campaigns to ensure the company meets partners' target ROIs.
- Perform keyword, backlink, traffic, competitor, geographic research and analysis to inform decisions and strategies.
- Assist with troubleshooting poor-performing campaigns by implementing an updated strategy for improvement.
- Measure performance, perform research, troubleshoot issues, and perform optimizations using appropriate project tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Wordpress, Yoast SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster, Page Speed Insights, Google Business Profile insights, and more.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with the content writers, development team, fulfillment team, and sales team to achieve optimal SEO results.
