What you will do:
- This position is charged with developing and marketing world class educational materials for the Yale and Hyster dealer network. This includes but is not limited to live classroom presentations, TKC certification modules, job aids, workbooks, videos, etc., all designed to increase sales, profit, market share and customer satisfaction.
- Design and develop online, blended, and other technology-related courses, ensuring adherence to targeted outcomes and best practices in instructional design and student learning.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other team members using sound instructional design principles along with OLO protocols and standards to facilitate efficient delivery, interactivity, and valid assessment.
- Leverage best andragogical and pedagogical practices with learning technologies to assist students, trainers and staff in effective course design and implementation.
- Review course materials for pedagogical integrity, consistency, grammar, and formatting. Coordinate course materials updates and changes with Product Program Managers or other appropriate personnel.
- Evaluate, support, and utilize education technology tools used in the development and production of audio/visual/multimedia and Web-delivered curriculum.
- Contribute to a culture of continual improvement with a focus on delivering best-in-class learning experiences to both our dealers and internal HY members.
- Identify current and future trends related to innovative teaching and learning strategies to improve the experience of students.
- Consult on institutional learning efforts and projects.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet hard deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Collaborate with the brand marketing teams to explore and develop new campaign and messaging ideas related to training or products.
- Design, develop and implement training marketing collateral including catalogs, flyers, training materials, communications, banners, signage, posters, etc.
- Support digital media elements including email communications, newsletters, social media graphics.
- Participate in the design and review of sales digital learning assets, as well as technical service training assets.

What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, graphical design, technical communications, education, generally required. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in developing multi-level sales programs, working with learning technologies, developing online content and instructor-led content in a project-based environment. Certificates in training and development desired.
- Strong experience in developing sales road maps, sales enablement programs, and technical sales training for field-based personnel utilizing latest learning technologies.
- Strong experience in developing technician road maps, technician service product programs, and technical training for field-based personnel utilizing latest learning technologies.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
•Knowledge and experience with a variety of computer applications (i.e., MS-Office and others).
•Broad experience and knowledge of computer skills, particularly education related applications: Articulate Studio 13, Storyline2, Captivate, Adobe Flash, HTML5, LMS System (NetDemisions), Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Elements, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Effects, Sony Sound Forge, or similar.
•Broad experience and knowledge of engineering systems: Seemage, Core AS400, CATIA (3D) or similar
