The Project Specialist is responsible for the client engagement, requirements documentation, quality assurance testing, and training functions for changes that are client facing. This role involves both new client onboarding and current client change management. Some of the chief functions are engaging new clients, documenting their requirements, and testing their system properties, creating user guides, and training new users to utilize the Cisive portal. Additionally, this position plays an important role in executing additional projects for new and existing clients.

 

Essential Job Duties:

 

  • Working with various internal departments to identify and obtain documentation
  • Collecting client requirements to document specifications into the system in order to establish client accounts
  • Developing knowledge and a complete understanding of all client properties, functions and how they can be used to customize client accounts
  • Testing end user interfaces to ensure that client specifications are met. Identify problems that need to be fixed before moving into client properties to be released into production
  • Scheduling and leading training sessions for clients to instruct them on the use of the Cisive portal
  • Ability to understand client requests and document them into clear requirements
  • Providing quality assurance on client changes, and documenting all test cases
  • Delivering individual projects and tasks as assigned by the Client IT Project Manager
  • Ensure Project Management team is informed about the status of projects

 

Education & Qualification Requirements:

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years previous experience working within an Operations, Quality Assurance or Client Support role, specifically handling system related issues and specifications
  • Must have MS Office Suite and Salesforce.com experience

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the Background screening industry preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency navigating computer systems and programs
  • Strong listening skills in order to convey and understand comments and questions of others
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in order to identify and solve problems

 

Expectations:

 

  • Strong attention to detail and focus coupled with the ability to take ownership of a project plan and then manage the plan through its completion.
  • Able to work independently but also part of a larger team.
  • Extensive knowledge of our internal systems as well as ability to work with internal partners in order to exceed client expectations, deliver a superior client experience, and maximize efficiency.

 

Travel Requirements:

 

Travel and possible overnight stay is expected approximately 20% of the time annually.

Compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000
