The Print Shop/Bindery Assistant works closely with our division manager and will be primarily focused on pre- and post-print production activities, including operating Finishing/Bindery equipment and cutting, folding, mailing, and packaging of printed materials.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects of printing, assembly and distribution of production work including pricing, invoicing, scheduling, planning and execution.
• Color output management understanding for quality control and proofing.
• Coordinate production schedule to meet customers' expectations and deadlines.
• Working knowledge of high-end production printers including Konica Minolta, Ricoh and Sharp.
• Working knowledge of production level binding equipment and finishing options.
• Working knowledge of “print on demand” Best Practices.
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally stand, stoop, bend, and kneel
• Manual dexterity to use hands and fingers to handle and control printing equipment, computer, and keyboard

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
