Home Clinix is a mobile medical group that specializes in treating patients in home. We are looking for a full time Physician Assistant who can oversee care for our patient census.

This is a mobile position. We treat 100% of our patients in their residence. Approximately 70% of patients are housed in group settings (ALF, SNF, ICF, etc.) where you will be overseeing multiple patients at the same location.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Physician Assistant OR certification through another entity accredited by the American Medical Association AND active registration with Home Clinix as a Physician Assistant.
• Must have reliable (presentable) transportation and be able to drive to patient's home when called upon.

Must have experience in private practice or public hospital setting

Job Duties:

• Meet with patients at medical clinics, in patient home, and via Telehealth.
• Prepare accurate reports for related providers and patient.
• Provide medical care for patients during their treatment.
• Assisting director of clinical services with financial transactions and administrative duties.
• Coordinate appointments for follow up visits among clinic staff and private practice clients.
• Coordinate laboratory services as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments for medical charting services.
• Provide advanced wound care on chronic wound patients.
• Manage medications with patients as requested.
• Write orders for home health or referrals to other specialists/providers as appropriate for patient care.

More than anything, we are looking for a provider who truly cares about patient care and can think outside the box in maximizing the solutions to patient needs. Our patient census is about 60% geriatric, medically complex patients and 40% intellectuals and developmentally disabled. These patients often are neglecting their healthcare due to lack of mobility, lack or education, or simply lack of care from the general healthcare community. Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
