The Admissions Recruiter is responsible for prospective student recruitment for New York College of Podiatric Medicine. This position requires contacting and establishing relationships with prospective medical students and answering any questions they may have in regards to post-college admissions in a medical school. Other responsibilities include researching/actively seeking out undergraduate open house career events and other applicable events at the national level and creating the communications materials to distribute to prospective students. This position reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Management and will be tasked with developing a comprehensive recruitment strategy. The incumbent in this role will have a demonstrated interest in learning about the field of podiatric medicine and the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of this educational path to perspective students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Recruitment/admissions experience is a plus (*can include student work experience or relevant college coursework).
• Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal).
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, (i.e. Banner, Slate, preferred).
• Must have good computer skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently is a must.
• National travel required for purposes of meeting with prospective students at select career/college fairs.
• Valid Driver's License required.
