Are you a savvy motion designer and video editor?
We’re a creative production shop that specializes in providing design, writing, video, web-development, and other services to technology marketers. And we’re looking for a motion designer / video editor.

Job summary
The motion designer (2D animator) is responsible for taking animated pieces from concept to completion and assisting junior motion designers. The primary role of the motion designer is to work with the client, writer, and junior motion designer to deliver an effective communications tool to the client.

Qualifications

• Four‑year degree in graphic design, computer animation, or equivalent field, or three to five years of professional experience
• Expert‑level knowledge of After Effects
• Advanced knowledge of other Adobe software such as: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of Cinema4D or equivalent 3D software a plus
• Experience creating storyboards also a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead and conduct client meetings
• Excellent comprehension of timing and spacing in animations
• A keen eye for composition and style frame layouts

Core duties

• Work with junior motion designer to develop concepts, storyboards, animatics, and completed animations.
• Synch voiceover tracks, music, sound effects, and other embellishments to yield a high‑quality finished product.
• Contribute to MarketReach marketing efforts—for example, compiling and sharing project information, contributing your photo and biographical blurb to our website, sharing MarketReach content through social media, and more.

Other things of note:

• Potential travel 20% of the time
• Remote or full-time in the office is fine
• Please provide a demo reel, portfolio page, or some samples of work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
