A locally owned beverage and nutrition supplements company experiencing significant growth is searching for a dynamic individual to lead the Quality Assurance initiatives and development of best practices and exceptional standards the company and their products deliver. The current leadership is filled with seasoned experts and innovative thinkers who are looking for a Manager of the Quality Assurance department to contribute to the goals of charting a course of a healthier tomorrow and making wellness more accessible to all. Duties will consist of the following:

• Develop a culture of perfection, ensuring our products surpass the industry benchmarks for health, safety, and efficacy
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and processes to meet industry standards, including but not limited to HAACP, SQF, BRC, NSF, CGMP
• Lead and manage the QA team, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and compliance with quality standards
• Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards (e.g., ISO, SQF, GMP). Conduct regular audits of processes and products
• Work closely with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the product lifecycle
• Manage the QA department's budget and resources effectively

Qualified candidates will have or will display the following:

• Previous experience in the beverage manufacturing or nutrition supplements industry
• Expertise in food safety regulations with certifications in SQF, NSF, BRC, or similar
• A proactive mindset, taking initiative in identifying and addressing potential quality issues
• High energy self starter
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control principles such as FDA, USDA, and SQF regulation
• 10 years of experience in related industries and minimum of 5 years in a leadership or supervisor capacity
