Our client, a gaming leader, is looking for a Localization Producer to support on game development.

Remote, Candidates must be eligible to work in the US

1 year contract

Rate – $55/hr+

40hrs per week

Working hours are 10am-6pm CST

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing and reviewing localization projects independently, ensuring consistency with timelines and quality. Swiftly identify and resolve any issues for projects or team.
• Communicating with game development teams and localization group to internationalize projects making sure the localization process runs smoothly
• Localization asset preparation, coordination and management
• Communicating between localization contact(s) within localization team, territories, and localization vendors as needed.
• Subject matter expert on localization process various tools used during the development process
• Work with production team to apply common production methodologies to establish, guide and modify the project process to become more effective and efficient
• Maintain ongoing production schedules, resolve dependencies and prioritize tasks to manage risks

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a related localization role in game development
• Knowledge of software internationalization and localization principles
• Proven experience in translation, localization or games production
• Understanding of game team structures and dynamics
• Experience with Jira, Excel, Tracking/project management software
