JOB TITLE: IT Applications / Front End Developer

JOB REPORTS TO: IT Applications Manager

LOCATION: Bristol, VA - In house- not remote

ActivePure, LLC is actively seeking experienced candidates for our Applications / Web Developer position. Interested candidates should be proficient in working .NET platforms, API integrations, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and have a passion for learning new technologies/languages needed for development projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in a fast paced, demanding, team-based environment to collectively complete complex development projects.
• Develop projects based on specifications and designs from Product and Creative teams.
• Champion clear and concise standards-based development.
• Documentation & Version code.
• Work with other developers/it staff to integrate front end code with various backend systems.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• 3+ years .NET experience
• 3+ years API integration experience
• 3+ years writing JavaScript
• 3+ years writing HTML/CSS
• 1+ years writing SQL database queries.
• Experience with popular ERP systems a plus.
• Rest/SOAP/EDI API integration (including proficiency at PostMan) experience a plus.
• Ability to produce quality work under tight timelines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ecommerce Web Development Platform experience a plus (MIVA, Magento, OsCommerce or other similar platforms).
• Experience with PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, Java, Python, ASP.net, MivaScript, Liquid, and other programming languages a plus.
• Experience with versioning/issue tracker software such as JIRA, Bit Bucket, Team Foundation Server, or similar a plus.
• Responsive Website Development experience a must.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

4 Year Degree from an Accredited School or a 2 Year Degree with Advanced Work Experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $81,000.00 per year
