Where you fit in
The Graphic Design and Print Lead is a position responsible for the overall design and look of The Crossing across all campuses. Through design, they show who The Crossing is to those who are skeptical about faith and those who are fully devoted followers of Christ. This position also works as a member of the Communications Team to collaborate on projects that help drive The Crossing’s mission, vision and values.
What you’ll be doing
Design
Design Graphics and communications pieces for services, events, groups and more.
Maintain a list of contractors that can be tasked with specific projects as needed.
Consistently be on the lookout for new ideas and innovation in our design and work alongside the Communications team to implement.
Work with ministries to make sure the needs of their projects are met.
Print
Maintain printer relationships, ensure all print items from The Crossing run through proper channels, and are processed correctly from sending the request to delivery of the final products.
Responsible for coding and submitting receipts for Print Items and ensuring they arrive as expected

Communications & Marketing Team Member
Work with the Communications Team to effectively and appropriately communicate the mission, vision, and values of The Crossing
Become a student of The Crossing by learning the “voice” and communication style of the Senior Pastor, Executive Team and Elders
Work with ministries to help make their ministry happenings a success
Find and apply ways to innovate and work more efficiently to move The Crossing forward
Support the effective execution of Sunday services and events by taking pictures, assisting with social media, and by being available for other related items (as needed)
Support the communications & marketing team with additional tasks as needed, including:
Copy editing
Social media responses
Basic Website updates
E-blast assistance
General
Organize workflow and synchronize between Asana (task management), Slack (staff communications), Google Docs and others as needed
Maintain necessary files in Dropbox to be accessed as needed by the Communications & Marketing Team
Respond promptly to email and text messages during working hours
Respond knowledgeably to general ministry questions, both internally and externally, via phone, email, and social media
Assist in coordinating volunteers to assist in needed areas of Communications & Marketing
Other related duties as needed
What you’ll bring to the team
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Minimum Experience: Two Year in professional graphic design, creative assistant or related role
Must demonstrate strong and effective technology experience in the following areas:
Role specific: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sunday Social, Dropbox, and others as needed
General: Gmail, Google Docs, Asana, and others as needed
Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience with graphic design, and/or brand awareness
Preferred Experience: Two years in an equivalent church setting or non-profit organization
Must pass a pre-employment background check
Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
