Finance Associate
We are partnering with a rapidly growing credit management firm with billions in assets in its hiring search for a Finance Associate. The ideal candidate will have credit experience and will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial ecosystem. Working with various departments, including the Investment and Investor Relations teams, this Finance Associate will handle special projects and financial reports, including trade and treasury procedures. Applicants must be able to work onsite in Boston according to the client’s hybrid work schedule to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Create quarterly and annual audited financial statements alongside Fund Administrators
- Review capital calls and distributions and perform management fee calculations, partnership allocations, and fund-related projects
- Liaise with banks and sponsors to carry out trades/settlements address inquiries from partners in a timely manner
- Assist with reporting on income, expense, liquidity, and compliance for the department
- Ensure that financial policies and procedures are followed, and present ways to streamline and optimize processes
- Manage multiple departments/entities’ billing independently using QuickBooks, Stripe and Salesforce
- Collaborate with supervisor on special billing projects
- Perform Export Control screenings to maintain regulatory compliance
- Review and process all bills, vendor invoices, requisitions, and requests for payment
- Work with vendors and VPF to settle billing discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2-5 years of public or private accounting experience; credit experience preferred
- Experience with fund partnership accounting and reporting required
- Experience with Allvue, QuickBooks, or similar system preferred
- High attention to detail with analytical and organizational skills
