The eLearning Developer will be an integral part of Impact’s Learning & Development department –the Impact Leadership Institute– delivering creative, innovative, and effective learning solutions across the enterprise. Utilizing and abiding by industry-leading techniques and standards, the eLearning Developer will be responsible for creating high-quality eLearning content for a variety of audiences.

This individual will be equally imaginative, strategic, and technical in nature –collaborating with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and teammates alike to craft thoughtful, impactful, and multi-faceted learning tools in an ever-evolving industry.

Building a Culture of Training and Development at Impact Networking

Responsibilities- Create engaging and interactive e-learning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.

• Incorporate multimedia elements, such as graphics, audio, and video, into e-learning courses.
• Design assessments and quizzes to evaluate learner understanding and retention.
• Ensure eLearning content meets accessibility standards and is compatible with the Learning Management System (LMS) to align with overall learning architecture and Learning Design strategies
• Craft thoughtful and integrated learning opportunities to propel organizational ‘learning culture’ and enhance the ‘Employee Experience’
• Test and debug eLearning courses to ensure functionality and user-friendliness
• Revise and update eLearning content as needed

This individual with be highly adaptable, self-sufficient, detail-oriented and eager to learn the business technology landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum development, or other related discipline
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in an eLearning Developer role or similar; must have current portfolio
• Demonstrated ability to design & execute course curriculum, ensure SCORM compliancy

- Expert proficiency in instructional design applications (Articulate 360 (RISE + Storyline), Adobe Creative Suite, - MS Office, Vyond, Camtasia, and/or other e-Learning authoring tools)

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and changing deadlines, remain open-minded and adaptable
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment, have fun and drive progress
• A portfolio is preferred to showcase your skills and abilities
