The Content Writer is responsible for developing engaging, effective, concise, and informative copy and content across various marketing channels to support AIFS strategic plan. This position plays a key role in reaching and educating AIFS U.S.-facing audiences for its various lines of business.
The Content Writer will work closely with staff from each division/company within
AIFS and reports to the Director of Marketing.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Content Writer to join the AIFS team in Stamford, CT. This full-time position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual who has strong digital marketing skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is well-versed at switching between different tones or audiences. The primary focus of this role will be on writing compelling multi-channel copy.
Duties include:
Producing original, clear, persuasive copy for multiple audiences across different channels including web and landing pages, blog posts, email communications, print materials, press releases and statements, video scripts, digital advertising, and more.
Editing existing or provided copy for spelling, grammar, tone of voice, and brand alignment
Revise and optimize content based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
Collaborate with SEO Coordinator to ensure best practices are met and content ranks well in search engines and drives organic traffic.
Work in conjunction with design teams to ensure copy and content prioritize the user experience
Adapting and tailoring content to suit different target audiences, maintaining the appropriate tone and style for each line of business
Providing SEO optimized meta content on websites
Researching competitors and staying on top of market trends
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree
At least 3 years of experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role in the digital marketing space
Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience in applying them to content creation
Ability to switch between different tones and writing styles to cater to diverse audiences
Ability to write both long-form and short-form copy
Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities to meet deadlines
Experience with copywriting and content development for UX
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Creative self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team
Working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft 365, Monday.com, SEMrush, WordPress, and Yoast
Hands-on experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc.)
Copywriting experience in travel, education, or lifestyle sectors a plus
Experience with HubSpot a plus

Work Environment
This job operates in a hybrid environment. AIFS offers a 35-hour work week during the business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate is expected to be in the Stamford, Connecticut office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
