Position Summary
We are looking for a highly creative and organized individual to join our team. As the Branded Content Editor for The Everygirl, you will be working closely with both our sales team and The Everygirl’s editorial and social teams to create compelling content for both our partners and our readers.
In this role, you will help create and oversee branded content (site, social, and newsletter) for The Everygirl: from brainstorming concepts to assignment, production, creation, brand feedback, go live, and ending with metrics reporting. The role of Branded Content Editor is heavily rooted in creativity while also focused on producing tangible results for partners. This role also requires a high level of organization as you will be working with multiple teams while keeping concurrent campaigns on deadline. You’ll be responsible for maintaining The Everygirl voice and tone while playing a pivotal role in the growth of The Everygirl. Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to conceptualize new and unique campaigns that help win new business
- Create campaigns from ideation to execution across all platforms that best serve client goals while remaining in-line with editorial best practices
- Work with the sales, editorial, social, and newsletter teams on campaign development
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently and pitch new, exciting ideas on a consistent basis
- Keep multiple, concurrent campaigns on deadline
- Organize and lead weekly meetings with branded content stakeholders delivering updates, reporting, and brainstorms
- Compile and analyze all data and reporting metrics for branded content for internal team and brand partners
Editorial
- Help oversee the branded content calendar for editorial team
- Conceptualize and write 2-3 original branded content articles per week that translate clients’ objectives into engaging content including first party narratives
- Work with the editorial team to assign and source writers, photographers, and freelancers as needed
- Edit and help manage client feedback on all branded content
Social
- Collaborate with social media team to create concepts and develop materials for clients
- Help oversee the branded content calendar for social
- Create social copy and deliverables for campaigns including filming 1-2 pieces of original video and still photography content per week
- Edit and manage client feedback on all social content
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in lifestyle and/or branded content editorial at a publisher. Preferably you have worked with a mix of brands across many verticals including fashion, beauty, travel, career, home, and more
- Enthusiasm for appearing on-camera bringing branded content to life (photo, social, and video) and a good sense of humor when bringing campaigns to life in an organic, relatable way
- A strong ability for organization and juggling multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Experience creating social media content (including Reels/TikTok and Instagram stories) is a must and will account for 50% of workload
- Ability to translate our partners brand story into an engaging and rich piece of content for The Everygirl’s platforms
- Experience working with remote team softwares including Slack, Asana, and Google Drive a plus
- Passion for The Everygirl and our mission to support women in all aspects of their life

Preferred
- Experience with remote team software including Slack, Asana, and Google Suite a plus
- Experience with Wordpress and sponsored social media tools is a plus
- Knowledge and experience creating on social media platforms, especially Instagram
- Have your finger on the pulse of trends in women’s lifestyle space
- Experience creating content for a variety of client categories
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
